ACT-ing Upstream: Taking a strategic approach to mental health promotion and prevention in the ACT

ACT-ing Upstream: Taking a strategic approach to mental health promotion and prevention in the ACT

In 2024, the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Health Directorate commissioned Prevention United to provide a paper that explored the creation of a systematic Mental Health Promotion and Prevention (MHPP) approach, with unique consideration of the ACT context.

The broad purpose of this document, ACT-ing Upstream: Taking a strategic approach to mental health promotion and prevention in the ACT, is to empower all sectors in the ACT to collaborate in improving the mental health and wellbeing of Canberrans.
