National Network of Mental Health Promotion Practitioners (NNMHPP)

National Network of Mental Health Promotion Practitioners (NNMHPP)

The National Network of Mental Health Promotion Practitioners is a community of practice for anyone working in the field of mental health promotion in Australia.

Mental health promotion focuses on three main outcomes:

  • Promoting mental wellbeing (aka good or positive mental health)
  • Preventing the onset of mental health conditions (aka primary prevention)
  • Building mental health literacy to support help-giving and help-seeking for mental health conditions and suicidal ideation.

The Network includes a webinar via Zoom every second month enabling you to participate in continuing professional development and an e-newsletter with the latest news, research and opportunities.

The network is free to join and open to any individual in Australia working on the promotion of mental wellbeing and primary prevention of mental health conditions regardless of their professional background.
