Mental Health Promotion Training

We offer training for teams, workplaces, and communities

Prevention United has developed a suite of training programs for people interested in the “how-to” of promoting mental wellbeing and preventing mental ill-health in their organisations, communities, or other settings.

Introduction to Mental Health Promotion

This introductory training session will help people to gain knowledge and confidence to play a role in building mental wellbeing and preventing mental ill-health in their organisations and communities.

Masterclass in Mental Health Promotion

Alongside providing essential language, and a deeper dive into the mental health promotion theory and frameworks, this masterclass guides participants through a systematic approach to designing and delivering mental health promotion initiatives.

Looking after our Mental Health and Wellbeing

This training session will help people gain knowledge and confidence to support their own mental health and wellbeing, as well as the wellbeing of others, particularly in the workplace. It also provides guidance on how to recognise and respond when people experience mental health difficulties.

Community Engagement in Mental Health Promotion

This training equips participants with the tools and frameworks to actively engage communities in the design, delivery, and evaluation of effective mental health promotion initiatives.

Evaluation in Mental Health Promotion

This training equips participants with foundational skills and knowledge to confidently evaluate mental health promotion initiatives, using validated tools and best practice methods to effectively measure impact.

Wellbeing-Centred Leadership

This training equips senior executives and organisational leaders with the knowledge and confidence to better support their own mental health and wellbeing and that of their teams, but also to more effectively consider wellbeing as they deliver goods and services that impact the broader community.
