Preventive Mental Health Conference 2026

The Preventive Mental Health Conference 2026, co-hosted by PHAA and Prevention United, will take place on 24-25 March 2026 in Paramatta Sydney.

With the theme ‘Doing Better - Working together to promote and protect the mental health and wellbeing of people in Australia’, this two-day conference focuses on strengthening Australia’s efforts to promote mental wellbeing, prevent mental health conditions, and reduce the growing impact of mental ill-health on individuals, families, and communities.

This event will bring together community members, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners from across public health and mental health sectors. Through collaborative discussions, we’ll examine what’s working, what’s not, and how we can enhance outcomes by working more effectively across settings and sectors. By coming together, we can drive meaningful progress in improving the mental health and wellbeing of all Australians.
